Connect your FactBox and Clio Accounts
Do you have an existing FactBox account and want to integrate it with Clio?
Please follow these two additional steps -- before and after -- to make sure the integration goes smoothly:
Before You Integrate: Rename your FactBox Cases
IMPORTANT: PLEASE RE-NAME FACTBOX CASES TO THE NAME OF THE CORRESPONDING CLIO MATTERS BEFORE YOU CONNECT THE INTEGRATION.
Because FactBox will automatically add the Clio matters to FactBox, you will end up with duplicate cases. If the name is the same, then Clio will just update the existing FactBox case. Only Open and Pending matters will be synced to FactBox.
After You Integrate: Double-Check your Member List
Because Clio adds all lawyers on a matter to the FactBox case, you might have a situation where more users are added to your FactBox account than you intended.
IMPORTANT: REMOVE ANY NEWLY ADDED MEMBERS WITHIN ONE DAY OF THE INTEGRATION TO AVOID ANY UNINTENDED CHARGES ON FACTBOX.
To do this, go to the User Profile page (click on your name in the upper right corner to access) and click on the My Firm tab. Click the "remove" button next to any person who shouldn't have access to FactBox. You can add them any time at a later date. Any Admin user has the ability to remove and add users from the account.
